SEAT ASSEMBLER - 3rd SHIFT

DUNCAN, SC - DUNCAN PLANT

As a member of the production team, the Seat assembler will be responsible forassembling and/or fitting parts together to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or conveyor line. May include operations requiring the use of simple hand tools and/or power or special assembly tools.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:



  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Repetitive gripping and use of hands
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble seat components according to specifications and instructions
  • Identify and report any problems related to the product, process, and quality system
  • Assure Safety and Quality standards are followed at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by adhering to Lear's "5S" and "World Class Housekeeping" standards
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals, performance goals, and objectives

Your Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements of drug screen, physical, and background check.
  • One year of related experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
