Summary of Job Warehouse Supervisor is a key leader within the plant, responsible for all warehouse functions, including the planning, storage, control and distribution of materials and products to meet Pregis objectives and customer requirements in a safe and timely manner. He or she is responsible for direction and administration of plant inventory control (including butane, resin, paper, etc.), shipping, receiving, and all onsite and external warehousing functions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate, promote, and drive team members to be accountable to a culture based on Pregis' core values: integrity, collaboration, customer focus and innovation.
- Manages to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Drives accountability for housekeeping to ensure an orderly and safe environment.
- Promote interactive communication between all departments. Influence employees through positive motivation. Manage conflict appropriately and motivate employees through company programs such as Inspyre Through Leadership.
- Providing direct supervision to department employees.
- Handling shifts administrative activities such as time/absence reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime etc.
- Evaluating employees' performance and provide feedback.
- Driving continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality.
- Monitoring daily work schedules, determine priorities, allocate work assignments, and regulate production processes to meet specific daily production requirements.
- Any other improvement projects as outlined by Plant Manager.
- Effective interactive communication with outside logistics and Pregis Customer Service.
- Ensure 5S program is implemented and maintained within warehouse and shipping areas.
- Participate in MDI meetings and ensure timely and accurate communication of information relevant to department.
- Responsible of shipping, receiving and will call coordination and delivering on all service and quality measurements.
- Manage investigations and resolve problems from material shortages, damage, or overages.
- Review logistical CCI's and determine root causes. Ensure root causes are addressed.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to achieve on-time deliveries and meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying and transportation costs.
- Provide support for cycle count program for finished goods and manage physical inventory events.
- Manage and resolve slow moving/inactive inventory and develop plans to avoid write-downs.
- Manage and monitor labor utilization and overtime in shipping and warehouse areas and take quick action to correct excessive labor costs.
- Leads department meetings and ensures all required trainings are complete.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Prior Coyote or similar Logistics software.
- Prior SAP or similar ERP system knowledge.
- Microsoft Office knowledge and skill.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.

- Heat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Humidity may exceed 80%
- Noise may exceed 85dB+

- Frequent standing, stooping, squatting, up to 25%
- Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs.)
- Frequent typing/keyboarding/preparing documents, voice- assisted as needed.
Position Type
- Full time
- Overtime expected per business demand.
- All leaders may be expected to work off-shift and weekends based on business need.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor degree preferred.
- Minimum 5-year shipping and warehouse experience preferred, experience in leadership highly preferred.
- APICS or other relevant certification, preferred.
