Position Responsibilities

The role of the Solution Architect is to support a diverse set of responsibilities overlapping the Deltek GovCon Services and Sales groups. Collaborate with internal PPM-focused organizations to develop and drive a common PPM strategy across sales, marketing, partner relations, services, customer care, and customer success. Within Services, responsibilities include kicking off and leading highly visible consulting engagements and interfacing with clients up to the C level by acting as a visionary and strategist for a specific set of products.

  • Serves as key strategic and technical advisor for opportunities, making recommendation to sales team based on customer requirements and solution capabilities.
  • Contributes in preparing and performing detailed product demonstrations for enterprise prospects and existing customers. Develops and updates demo scripts, scenarios, and databases.
  • Partners with Sales and Services to conduct pre-sales discussions with reps to strategize on sales approach and offer product advice.
  • Assists Account Executives in qualifying prospects from a functional and business process perspective.
  • Works with existing customers to assist them leverage best practices in the use of the software.
  • Mentors and trains peers on applications and methodologies.
  • Proactively assumes responsibility for learning new products and maintains outstanding knowledge of relevant software applications
  • Actively supports the corporation's Win Strategy

Qualifications


  • 12+ year of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Product knowledge of Deltek PPM Product suite.
  • Experience with government contracting or other project-based organizations preferred.
  • Strong technical background with understanding of enterprise application architecture, application integration, and content management preferred

Compensation Information

The U.S. On-Target-Earnings (OTE) for this position is $150000.00 - $187500.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
