About the role/team: We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Inside Sales to lead and manage our North American Mobility inside sales team of 50. The Director of Inside Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, expand our customer base, and maximize revenue. This role requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate a team, as well as someone who is strategic, analytical, and customer-focused. ~25-50% of his time covering the inside sales responsibilities and ~50-75% developing and executing the Mobility "future of sales" strategy. How you will make an impact: Inside Sales:
Lead and manage the inside sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives. Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and increase market share. Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with prospective customers. Provide sales training, coaching, and mentorship to team members to help them achieve their full potential. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action as needed. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, risk, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Lead sales transformation initiatives to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs. Design and implement organizational structures and processes to optimize sales performance and efficiency. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and other key metrics.

Experience you will bring
Bachelor's degree or greater in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects or programs that span several business areas and include multiple sub-projects. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex market and customer data. Demonstrated success in the effective motivation, management and deployment of supervisors and associates. Superior performance management skills, including coaching, feedback and individual professional development to enhance sales performance and customer experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in successful deployment and utilization of Telephony platforms/tools to coordinate allocation of sales resources for optimal capacity, potential for growth and implementation of business strategies. Ability to lead and work alongside cross-functional teams, especially Sales and IT/Product. Willingness to travel as required.
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $123,000.00 - $163,000.00
