*Description:*
* Identify transportation balance needs in order to keep fleets moving profitably. * Manage multiple customer shipments simultaneously. * Utilize online load boards to acquire head hauls and back hauls at good rates. * Schedule all aspects of pick up/delivery with shipper, consignee and carrier. * Effectively track shipment status through various methods (phone, online, e-mail, EDI to TMS, etc). * Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability. * Negotiate cutsomer contracts and pricing *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* - Bachelors degree or 3+ years of experience - Logistics/Transportation/Freight Broker exp preferred - Microsoft skills- Excel - Ability to work in a fast paced environment About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
