Job Purpose and Overview

The Salesforce Product Senior Manager at Dawn Foods is responsible for building and enhancing Dawn Foods technical capabilities and utilization of Salesforce.com (SFDC). The Product Senior Manager will lead the Product Delivery team (to be designed) and be responsible for defining product features, prioritizing the product backlog, and ensuring the team delivers high-value solutions that meet Customer/Stakeholder needs. The Product Senior Manager will work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into a clear and actionable roadmap for continuous improvement and enhancement of the Salesforce product.

The Product Senior Manager will drive team sprint goals, prioritize the team's efforts, and work closely with business stakeholders to ensure the team is delivering on the product roadmap and representing the needs of our customers and stakeholders. As a member of the Sales Operations team, the Product Senior Manager will work daily with SFDC Developers, UX designers, Architects, and other IT teams to design and deliver solutions and product features.

Work Environment: This position is remote with travel up to 35% of the time. To be considered for this role, candidates must reside in Eastern or Central time zone.

What will you do as a Salesforce Product Senior Manager at Dawn Foods?



  • Establish a Product-Centric Delivery Model, focusing on delivering incremental measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the business and technology stakeholders to facilitate decisions regarding product capabilities and priorities. Serve as a liaison between the business and the product team as the voice of the customer to address and communicate their needs and concerns to the product team.
  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning it with overall business goals and customer needs.
  • Work within an Agile development process to execute against a planned product roadmap, driving outcomes with a measurable level of impact.
  • Support translating the product strategy and vision into what the product delivery team is building and ensure they are building the right solutions and features.
  • Lead a cross-functional product team that is accountable for delivering on sprint goals.
  • Develop user stories and epics that the product team will implement as solutions that meet business needs.
  • Break down vision into individual achievable deliverables and continuously groom with the business and full product team.
  • Collaborate with product delivery teams including day-to-day coordination of backlog priorities and allocation of work to the team.
  • Accountable for the iterative and agile product delivery lifecycle end-to-end inclusive of, but not limited to, requirements gathering and scoping, research and usability engineering, prototyping, development, testing, quality assurance, deployment, training and support, and maintenance.
  • Create materials that help ensure alignment and awareness of product development efforts within core internal groups.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

What Does It Take to be a Salesforce Product Senior Manager at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.



  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 7+ years of experience, including at least 2 years as a Salesforce Administrator and 5+ years in product management, business consulting, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Certifications demonstrating expertise in Salesforce technologies are preferred.
  • In-depth experience and understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud -Knowledge of the limitations of declarative features of Salesforce and when Flow, Apex or LWC should be applied is a plus.
  • Experience with e-commerce best practices.
  • Strong experience and understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Experience as a Product Owner/Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment.
  • In-depth experience in configuring core processes in the Salesforce tool.
  • Proficiency in the following required: MS Teams and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity in the following is highly desired: Agile project/product management tools (JIRA experience a plus); Standard flowcharting tools such as Visio or Lucidchart; Data querying methodologies.
  • Understanding of product sales process preferred.
  • Experience with food distribution is preferred.

Compensation

$102,640 - $169,350 + Bonus Potential
