Description: Has worked 3 to 5 years in data centers, MDFs and IDFs. Typical work hours will be 7:30am to 4pm Monday thru Friday. There may be occasional requests to work evenings. (There is some flexibility with start and end times but will be Monday through Friday.) Comfortable working in Excel (Our cut sheets are Excel spreadsheets.) and Outlook. It would be helpful if person, has worked with Nlyte application. (Nlyte is our DCIM tool.) Is familiar with cut sheets for installing equipment, rack equipment, run fiber and copper patch cables, understands importance of labeling devices and cables, verify connections are up, troubleshoot fiber, cat6 and twinax connections. Can plan decommissions of equipment and cabling using extracts from Nlyte.
