Job Description: The successful candidate will work with the team and leadership team to ensure robust governance & control for the team. This will involve demonstrating key areas of knowledge/experience, per the below, that contribute to management of that framework; Experience in Risk Management and escalation of emerging issues. Experience in Issues Management (Regulatory, Audit, Self-Identified) - both coverage and identification. Experience In Process Management, working to identify key processes / procedures and then designing a framework to ensure they are well maintained. Experience in creating presentations for both senior management and broader team cohorts. Evidence a strategic mindset when designing a governance & control framework that allows for review of past issues but with a broad view of upcoming deliverables. Communication of key concepts up the chain to senior management as well as to the junior levels of the team that onboard changes to process and procedure. Ability to manage and influence stakeholder relationships at all levels, with particular focus at the senior management level. Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks with competing deadlines, demonstrating organizational skills. Ability to review, debate and challenge current processes, trends to mitigate risk. Ability to respond appropriately to time-sensitive requests. Ability to network and build business relationship skills across multiple organizations (GRM, GCOR, EIT, GRA). Qualifications: Degree qualified - Bachelors / Master's degree. Experience in Financial Services or a related field. Experience in a COO or Business Management role with broad focus. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of Risk Management. Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex fast paced environment without sacrificing quality or timelines. A demonstrable 'control' oriented experience and mindset. Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments Proven track record of identifying sub-optimal processes and then fixing them. Positive attitude and open to feedback. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including to senior audiences. Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help team solve problems.
