The Division of Street Medicine, within the Department of Family Medicine is seeking a board-certified Family Physician or Internist with experience in HIV Medicine for a part-time (1 day per week) faculty position at the Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine (Clinician Educator) level or higher. The ideal candidate is a skilled clinician and educator ready to dedicate themselves to support our patients experiencing unsheltered homelessness and living with HIV. The part-time HIV Physician will engage in direct patient care, as well as supervising learners including medical students, PA students, Family Medicine residents and HIV Fellows. All patient care is field based, either on the street or at interim housing sites. This is a part-time, in-person faculty position at the Alhambra, CA office. Essential Functions of the Street Medicine HIV Physician * Provide high quality field-based direct patient care to patients living with HIV and experiencing unsheltered homelessness within their lived environment on the street or wherever they are found. * Work collaboratively with other members of the Street Medicine HIV team, including nursing, Community Health Workers and administration.
