What It's Like T-Mobile Advanced and Emerging Technologies group scouts the technology landscape across all time horizons. Our goal is to keep T-Mobile at the fore-front of innovation. We deliver innovation by identifying new technologies of interest to T-Mobile, how to use existing technologies in new ways, and developing new ways of doing things. What You'll Do The ideal candidate will find themselves immersed in adapting Generative AI, Machine Learning and other AI methodologies to the telecommunications industry. The goal of this internship will be to develop a proof of concept AI models and solutions as an engineering assistant. Quantitative methods will be necessary in order to properly evaluate model performance and fine-tuning. Our team has a dedicated, on-premise laboratory equipped with nvidia A100, H100 and V100 GPUs specifically for proof of concept development. Key Responsibilities develop and/or refine a Large Language Model proof of concept implementations develop and/or refine deep learning models develop metrics to quantitatively and objectively evaluate model performance responsible for researching, evaluating and executing proofs of concept for 5G infrastructure and related technologies and services. responsible for developing protyped applications that demonstrate the use of LLMs to assist in managing the 5G network. What It Takes python pandas numpy text manipulation in python iOS and/or Android programming experience Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location. Never stop growing!
