NTER, INC. (HATCI) is currently looking for a Paralegal at its Superior Township, MI location to perform the following duties:

A Paralegal who is an excellent communicator, team player, detail-oriented, willing to learn, self-motivated, confident, and interested in helping create a happy, healthy, and productive work environment on the Legal Team. The ideal candidate must possess planning and organizational skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities, be deadline-driven, have sound judgment and decision-making skills, be able to effectively handle sensitive and confidential information, work well under pressure and be a multitasker. This Paralegal role is a wonderful opportunity to work with a diverse group of highly driven team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:



  • Immigration - Draft and prepare employment based nonimmigrant visa petitions in coordination with legal counsel; Prepare and draft email correspondence, letters and documentation for case matters to employees, government agencies, and internal stakeholders; Coordinate immigration filings and gathering of necessary information; Coordinate with human resources and hiring managers during the new hire process; Maintain case records and required audit files; Monitor the status of cases, track expiration dates, and run reports; Research information regarding company or industry profiles, current wages, processing procedures, government processing times, etc.
  • Environmental, Health, and Safety - Support the EHS team by providing legal research and analysis on initiatives, projects, etc.



The legal team also performs functions in the following areas and the Paralegal may be assigned responsibilities in the following areas depending on workload:



  • Commercial
  • Real Estate
  • Governance
  • Litigation
  • Employment
  • Compliance
  • Insurance
  • Vehicle Administration


What you will need:



  • The ability to understand and consider business objectives in a legal function.
  • Demonstrate strict attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in work.
  • Possess prompt responsiveness to internal client requests with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated.
  • Willingness to work in a team-based environment with collaboration among co-workers.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize an ever-changing workload.
  • Proficient with Computer and especially Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).



Required Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two to Five Years' experience in a legal function
  • Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
  • Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Driving Record


Preferred Experience:



  • In-house legal experience
