DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Clerical Assistant 2 is responsible for the operation of the main switchboard at the District Office front desk by assisting incoming callers and providing required information. Serves as the receptionist for the office and greets and directs visitors in a professional manner. The CA2 is responsible for scheduling conference rooms for training events and meetings and will assist District and guest Instructors. This position will maintain In-Service training files and is responsible for all aspects of the LSO Training program. Performs a variety of clerical and office support to the Manager of the Legislative Affairs and the District Executive as needed such as preparing correspondence and memos.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
