Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCB) is seeking a SUD Case Manager to provide SUD-related case management and counseling services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders for our clinic in Batavia The primary focus is to engage, connect, and link individuals to services.

Position Responsibilities for SUD Case Manager

  • Provides ongoing SUD case management to individuals within the Over-the-Rhine community and individuals in the surrounding area in need of services.
  • Assess the client's strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences to receive substance use disorder treatment, including medication-assisted treatment, by gathering information from the client and other sources when available regarding the client's substance use
  • Provide coordination and assistance in accessing services for crisis stabilization and resolution, and collaborating in identifying treatment needs
  • Engage clients in the therapeutic process and practice intensive outreach and engagement strategies with clients utilizing community-based interventions
  • Conduct therapeutic clinical sessions to identify and address difficulties the client is experiencing that are interfering with the client's recovery process
  • Provide ongoing case management, referrals, and/or linkages to needed services such as schools, employment, housing, health facilities/providers, and other community resources with the goal of improving each client's quality of life and recovery process

Position Requirements for SUD Case Manager

  • Ohio CDCA required
  • Experience working with individuals with SUD
  • LCDCII, LCDCIII, LSW, or LPC preferred. Pay differential for LCDCII or above.
