Primary Function: Responsible for identifying and securing funding from the federal government and its agencies, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey, multiple counties and the city of Philadelphia, for programs that are of strategic importance to Jefferson Health. This individual is also responsible for working closely with Research Administration Center for Excellence (RACE) and Office of Research Support Services (ORSS) to ensure timely reporting and filing of all necessary paperwork associated with these grants and contracts. The Director of Government Grants will assist in engaging grant readiness teams to respond to various funding opportunities. The Director will also maintain good working relationships with elected and public officials and staff in various government agencies that are current or potential partners for Jefferson Health. The Director of Government Grants reports directly to the Vice President for Government and External Affairs. EDUCATION: Bachelorrsquo;s Degree Required. Masterrsquo;s Degree Preferred.
