About the Role

As the Procurement Analyst, Assets in our Warehousing & Distribution (W&D) Business Unit, you'll ensure every dollar spent maximizes value and sustainability. Your role will support Maersk's integrator strategy and operational footprint, helping us drive cost efficiency, strong vendor relationships, and enhanced service levels.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Manage procurement categories within Warehousing & Distribution, overseeing strategic suppliers and vendors in warehouses, depots, and cold chain logistics.

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing projects for asset purchases, leases, rentals, and disposals, including total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, cost structure understanding, and negotiation strategy.

  • Conduct supplier market analysis and benchmark asset costs, ensuring our offerings are competitive across North America.

  • Integrate and centralize procurement activities across 140+ locations, emphasizing efficiency and standardization.

  • Partner with suppliers on decarbonization initiatives, advancing Maersk's commitment to sustainability.

  • Develop and negotiate complex capital expenditure (capex) agreements and establish service-level agreements (SLAs) with key suppliers.

  • Collaborate with North American colleagues and teams within Maersk, including Operations, Finance, and Commercial.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent procurement experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in operations or procurement processes like category management, sourcing execution, contract management, and market analysis

  • Complex negotiation skills and commitment to responsible procurement

  • Effective stakeholder management, especially in operations, finance, and commercial teams

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 USD*

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
