As USAC continues to support universal service impacting health care providers, educators, and consumers, it is critical now more than ever that we hire people equally passionate and committed to helping fulfill our mission. We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as a Software Developer IV (IDP-Hyperscience) with our IT team. Reporting to the Senior Manager Software Development you will:

  • Architect, design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document Automation solutions using AI and Hyperscience, including Platform maintenance and administration.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of automation solutions using Hyperscience, from
  • requirement gathering to deployment and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Configure and customize the Hyperscience platform to meet specific business needs and enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations of the automation solutions to identify areas for
  • improvement and optimization. Conduct design and code peer reviews.
  • Train and on-board users on the Hyperscience platform, providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Implement processes and flows requiring Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Research, evaluate, recommend and implement technical solutions, tools, COTS and open-source products.
  • Write technical design, architecture, assessment and other documents as required;
  • Lead application integration efforts.
  • Represent the IT department in terms of software development expertise in coordination with other departments.

About You

  • Bachelor Degree and/or relevant technical training with no preferred certification.
  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of directly related experience implementing Automation solutions.
  • Three (3) to Four (4) years of development experience with Hyperscience (Required)
  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of Application development experience (Required)
  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience using software engineering, design patterns, object-oriented design and architecture, Internet application development, web services, and technical documentation.
  • Five (5) + years of experience in application security concepts, domain modeling and database design including SQL and/or NoSQL solutions.
  • Knowledge of configuration management and release management principles.
  • Understand the difference between structured, semi-structured, and unstructured documents, able to architect and design practices for document classification and data extraction across various document types.

Additional Desired Experience:

  • High transaction/data volume systems, front end technologies, integration of application software, RDBMS, scripting languages, and high availability architectures.
  • Agile SDLC; Scrum/Kanban preferred, SQL, implementation of COTS products, and authentication and authorization technologies (SSO, SAML).
  • Continuous delivery, Continuous Integration, and contribution to open-source community.
  • Integration of application software, high availability architectures, exposure to enterprise architecture concepts.
