JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Procurement Systems Coordinator and Analyst is responsible for the training and support of all procurement-related systems. The successful candidate will create, coordinate, and provide new user and refresher training for the Penn State University-wide e-Procurement system known as PSUbuy (SAP Ariba). Additionally, this position will gather and analyze data for various databases and sources and create reports, summaries, and recommendations for Central Procurement Management and staff, as well as support the Purchasing Card (PCard) operations. Primary Job Duties: * Subject Matter Expert and point of contact for all training and support needs for users of the new university-wide e-Procurement system (PSUbuy), including Office of Central Procurement, University shoppers, workflow approvers, and suppliers utilizing the PSUbuy (SAP Ariba) network * Serve as additional PSUbuy (SAP Ariba) system administrator within Central Procurement assisting users with helpdesk requirements * Assist the Senior Data Analyst with all data analysis programs * Perform statistical programming, develop and maintain databases and provide consultation and technical assistance to staff * Advise staff in determining the appropriate analytical methodology to meet their needs and objectives * Provide Purchasing Card (PCard) program analytics and support by creating audit reviews of transactions, and acting as point person for PCard user requests for limit increases, new cards, and general inquiries Education and Experience: This position minimally requires an Associate's degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree in a business-related major is preferred. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and people skills * Good problem-solving skills * Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task * High regard for confidentiality * Working knowledge of computer software (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point) * Ability to learn, navigate, and teach new technology solutions This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work.
