Staff Accountant

About the Role:

Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable, Sales Tax filings, Business License, and Journal Entry requirements. Assists with analysis for all items related to Payroll, Billing, Gross Margin, and Workforce Costs.

What You'll Do:

• Completes of all Sales Tax Filings.
• Provide accounting support for all Sales Tax and Foreign GST Tax Filings.
• Processes all other Business Income and License Renewal filings.
• Assists with responsibilities related to Travel for our large team of associates across North America.
• Assists the Finance Team with Month End Journal Entries.
• Provides accounting support to the Accounts Payable process.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills required.
• Strong analytical skills; attention to detail, including self-verification.
• Experience with performance reporting and preparing/presenting presentations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience in Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Experience with payable / P.O. systems.
