What You'll Be Doing...The Employee Engagement team is looking for a communications strategist to tell the story of how Verizon is the place to build the career you want and the future you deserve. The Senior Manager of Employee Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies and tactics that elevate Verizon's reputation as a top destination for talent. You will serve as the Communications Business Partner to the Head of Careers and Learning and partner with HR teams on initiatives related to our talent and development programming. As an experienced and highly creative strategist, your responsibilities will include creating integrated communications strategies, plans, and assets for transformational programs, with an emphasis on the employee experience and the employee value proposition. You must be willing to constantly innovate and seek out the best practices and latest trends. More than anything, you must be able to be a trusted, strategic counselor to senior leaders in HR and beyond. Responsibilities include:
