Position Title: Forklift Operator
Wage: $20.00 per hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 10:00pm-6:00am QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift Operator position available at a company in Franksville, WI. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Complete an inspection of the forklift at the beginning of each shift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for repairs needed. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment. - Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials. - Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Safety Data, and Quality Data. - Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. - Track and record units of materials handles. Forklift Operator Requirements: - Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day. - Must be able to bend and twist. - Must be able to push up to 50 lbs. - Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. occasionally. - Ability to handle physical workload. - High School Diploma or GED preferred. - Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred. - Experience in manufacturing, packaging or other related fields. - At least 3 years of experience with a sit-down forklift, pallet jack, forklift or other industrial vehicles. - Strong work ethic. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. racine@qpsemployment.com IND012 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
