Heritage Thermal Services (HTS) is dedicated to safety, compliance, our community and our employees. HTS is located on the Ohio River in East Liverpool, Ohio. Known as the tri-state area, we border Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The facility is approximately 30 minutes from the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and provides opportunity for big city adventures, small town communities, and country living.

About the position:

The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician is responsible for completing preventative maintenance work and answering emergency calls related to any plant instrumentation or electrical issues. In addition, there are weekly, monthly, and annual inspections that are required to be completed. The technician will also perform basic maintenance on the plantwide fire systems and the Continuous Emissions Monitoring equipment.

Requirements:



  • Minimum of 3 years electrical and electronics/instrumentation experience in an industrial or chemical process plant.
  • Good safety habits and good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be a "team player".
  • Bailey Control DCS and Allen Bradley PLC experience are pluses.
  • Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts to include days, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds. Surfaces include flat, inclined, lifts, stairs and ladders.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.


Minimum Education:



  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or High School Diploma with equivalent experience.


Responsibilities include:



  • Maintain all facility instruments, sensors, probes, control loops, and electrical systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
  • Maintain necessary logs and records.
  • Perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
