Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior advisor to public sector clients, identifying and addressing complex cybersecurity risks and needs.
- Lead the development and presentation of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions to executive and technical audiences.
- Conduct and oversee advanced cybersecurity assessments, including risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits.
- Provide high-level guidance and actionable recommendations to enhance clients' cybersecurity posture, ensuring alignment with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and SCADA.
- Advise on and implement cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance strategies.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of cybersecurity methodologies and client interactions, ensuring all deliverables meet Tyler Technologies' standards.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure integration and consistency in cybersecurity service delivery and product development.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships, acting as a primary contact for client cybersecurity initiatives.
- Identify new service opportunities and contribute to the expansion of client engagements.
- Contribute to the strategic development and enhancement of Tyler's cybersecurity products and services.

Yarmouth, Maine | Remote Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in a consulting role.
- Experience with complex cybersecurity projects and delivering measurable results.
- Demonstrated success working with public sector clients or similar regulated industries is highly preferred.
Certifications
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or achievable within 12 months of employment.
- Additional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, or GICSP are preferred.
- Any advanced SCADA certifications or cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.
Technical Skills
- Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, SCADA).
- Proficiency in advanced security tools and technologies, including firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, cloud security, and IAM.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with AI applications in cybersecurity is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are highly preferred.
Travel Requirements
Regular travel to client sites as required, which may include regional day travel and occasional overnight stays.
