The Role

Our Retail and Consumer Good Practice group is looking for a Product Manager to join our journey. We're looking for someone who has experience in Retail in Merchandising. We're looking for Senior Consultants who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. Responsibilities

  • As a Product Manager, you will be defining product roadmap, curating product feature list; managing backlog of enhancements and user stories within Omni-Channel Order Management area
  • Working in agile delivery programs as a product owner / process specialist collaborating with business and technology teams
  • Perform end-to-end implementation exposure from design through deployment in solutions such as Manhattan DOM or Active Omni; IBM Sterling Commerce Solution is highly preferred
  • Understanding of broader supply chain processes and technology landscape in retail industry with experience in one or more of Inventory Management; Order Management; customer support, returns management or logistics will be a plus
  • Experience in leading client workshops, discussing detailed business requirements to drive productivity in these processes
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to lead discussions with clients in a fast-paced environment, process mapping and requirements gathering, documenting user stories, SOPs and functional documents including training content in OMS
  • Participate and contribute to business development efforts
  • Participate and contribute to practice competency development

Qualifications:

  • Business-technology consultants with 10+ years of experience for our Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel and Hospitality (RCGTH) practice.
  • Manhattan DOM or Active Omni Solutions; IBM Sterling Commerce is highly preferred
  • Expertise in Omni-Channel Order Management area.
  • Experience in user stories; functional consulting; requirements management; business workshop skills are critical.
  • Hands on experience in designing, training and implementing order management technology solutions within retail environment
  • Technology savvy with exposure in querying and analyzing large datasets inventory and supply chain data
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering,) required.

Location: Seattle, WA Preferred or willing to travel once a month

Work Authorization

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 11/30/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
