Project Manager to join our team in
Phoenix or
Kingman, AZ!
As a
Project Manager you will be responsible for managing projects in the field at customer sites across industries such as mining, power, and manufacturing. This role requires frequent travel, mostly across Arizona, though further travel will occur as needed.
What You'll Do:
- Determine schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel
- Continuously improve customer satisfaction through programs to reduce delinquencies, provide for on-time delivery, and meet customer quality and cost expectations. Actively seek customer interfaces to communicate and facilitate customer needs within the organization
- Monitor employee's work levels and review work performance
- Monitor tool and parts inventories and the condition and maintenance of service vehicles
- Examine objects, systems, or facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations, services or repairs
- Investigate accidents and injuries, and prepare report of findings
- Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures
- Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies
- Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Need:
- 4+ years of Project Management experience required.
- Industrial construction experience required, experience in mining, power plants, and/or manufacturing plants preferred.
- Ability to travel to customer sites required (approx. 80% in Arizona).
- Valid Driver's License and ability to pass DOT physical and Motor Vehicle Record Check.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with customers and crew members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
- Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.
- Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
- During customer site visits, exposure to wide variety of potential hazards that require following extensive, customer mandated safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
