Energy Rental Sales Representative Overview Thompson Energy Solutions, a division of Thompson Machinery, is looking for a dynamic outside rental sales representative to manage a defined territory in Middle Tennessee for rental generators, compressed air systems, and HVAC solutions. This role requires a strong technical knowledge of power systems and industrial sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a territory effectively to ensure our customers' success. Responsibilities Manage existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling Collaborate with customers and engineers, including site assessments, to determine equipment needs and system requirements Provide customized solutions, including generators, compressed air, HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, and ancillary gear Prepare and present rental sale contracts, lease agreements, and bids for projects Collaborate with other departments to deliver turnkey solutions for all Thompson products and services offered Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred or 5+ years of technical experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in power generation, electrical distribution, compressed air, and HVAC systems preferred Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Thompson Machinery offers competitive salaries and a complete benefits package.
