This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. (324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. FTT will require proof of status prior to employment.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This position is part-time/hourly, anticipated hours will be 20 hours per week. Data entry, tracking, and maintaining of suppliers into our Costpoint system. Help support and provide back up to our Logistics Coordinator.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Works with and under supervision of the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Data entry of suppliers into Costpoint.
  • Maintaining/updating supplier capability index.
  • Contact suppliers for hardware and company profile updates as deemed necessary by the Supply Chain Manager.
  • May provide support to the Logistics Coordinator, such as shipping/receiving duties.
  • May input receiving hardware into Costpoint.
  • Follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.
  • Provide support to internal customers on operational and/or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
  • Works on assignments that are routine in nature. May require some judgment to enter data into system and understanding supplier file entries.
  • Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience or training is preferred.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Experience in Costpoint is preferred but can be acquired via on-the-job training.


WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Office/Lab/Warehouse environment.
  • Light lifting is required.
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion using common tools/equipment of the trade.
  • Ability to lift, grasp, sit, stand, bend, type, and see computer screen.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel to/from local suppliers may be required on an as-needed basis.
