EVS Technician

Where You'll Be:

The LaGrange Environmental Services Team provides a variety of cleaning duties such as, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, etc. to support each department's daily cleaning assignments. Members of the team utilize a variety of approved procedures and tools to work effectively within the 111 bed acute care hospital. Baptist Health LaGrange is proud to serve residents of Oldham, Henry, Trimble, Carroll, and eastern Jefferson counties.

What You'll Do:

• Cleans office areas, lounges, restrooms, public areas, exam rooms, treatment rooms, etc., daily according to established guidelines.

• Cleans discharged patient rooms as assigned in a timely manner

• Stocks supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc in assigned area

• Uses cleaning chemicals appropriately and with proper dilution ratio

• Removes waste and soiled linen in a safe and effective manner to designated area

• Utilizes the Bed Tracking System by logging in/out of work and when cleaning discharge patient rooms following established procedures.

• Keeps janitor closet and cleaning cart in a neat and organized manner
