Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care

Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join our Urgent Care team at Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center - Crystal Lake.

Opportunity:

• Collaborate with experienced physicians and have the full support of an excellent team of RNs and support staff
• Work three 12-hour shifts (start and stop times TBD)
• Holiday rotation and two weekends a month coverage
• 60% ED critical care and 40% urgent care patients

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
• Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
• A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action.
• Ability to pass an Illinois Health Care Workers Background Check

Certification/Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
• Current IL PA or NP License
• Current DEA number and IL CS
• ATLS certification
• Other certifications as required

O'Hare International Airport, Chicago-Rockford International Airport, Chicago Midway International Airport, or General Mitchell International Airport are all options for air travelers. Additionally, private and commercial chartered flights are available through the Lake in the Hills Airport.
