POSITION PURPOSE Our organization relies heavily on accurate and consistent information to make informed decisions and drive strategic initiatives. Master data serves as the backbone of this information, representing key business entities such as customers, products, suppliers, and locations. The Master Data Specialist is essential in managing this critical data, ensuring it is reliable and accessible across the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our master data, ensuring that our data assets are reliable and accessible across the organization, working closely with various departments to support enterprise systems and drive continuous improvement in data quality. Specifically, the analyst will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of master data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems. Additionally, this role will monitor data quality metrics, conduct data cleansing, and identify and resolve discrepancies in master data, while maintaining thorough documentation of data definitions, data sources, and data lineage to support transparency and understanding of master data throughout the organization. The Master Data Specialist ensures that an organization's master data is accurate, reliable, and effectively utilized to support business objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
