Job Overview
The Maintenance and Facilities Manager provides leadership and direction to the department. This individual manages maintenance of the building and maintenance and repair of equipment within the facility. This position monitors the workflow of the department, department calls and feedback to engineering and management on equipment issues. This position is responsible for developing and managing departmental budgets, long-range department goals/strategies and the overall management of services and processes that support the core operations of the business ensuring compliance within all regulatory standards. |
Highlights of your role
* Completes projects within time and budgetary specifications. * Supports continuous improvement, stays informed on maintenance technology, and implements changes/improvements to help increase team/equipment efficiency. * Ensures compliance with all Maintenance related State and Federal regulatory standards. * Assist in ensuring the compliance of all Safety, Enviromental, and Security standards. * Assist in the development and sustainment of all energy management initiatives. * Assist with the procurement of maintenance related equipment and support systems. * Provides good quality service to all customers and ensures that repair parts inventory is well managed. * Facilitates training of associates on equipment, procedures and processes. * Ensures all maintenance areas and associates meet housekeeping and safety standards. * Plan, schedule and support preventative maintenance and related work orders; ensure availability, accuracy and timeliness of any applicable replacement part orders. * Ensures facility upgrades and repairs are complete and facilites and grounds are maintanted.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
* Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred * Five or more years of related supervisory experience or training is required * Five or more years of mechanical experience, with an emphasis in automation and electrical training, is required

* Must possess skills to problem solve, train, direct, self motivate, and communicate effectively * Proficient organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking abilities are required *Must possess knowledge in manufacturing processes and mechanical/electrical equipment and software systems.
