AMD together we advance_ SUMMARY: This is a technical manager position for AMD's central Design Verification (DV) Methodology team. The candidate is expected to have technical knowledge and hands on work experience on CAD/EDA methodology in DV and will manage a team of technical contributors. This AMD central team delivers verification methodology related technologies for all AMD project projects and product lines. This manager position will be working with global teams on the verification methodologies and technologies covering design technology, functional verification technology, coverage, debug, verification infrastructure such as VIPs, formal verification, and some complex design description and automation methodologies, and apply AI techniques where applicable. The position also requires technical management of EDA vendors. THE ROLE: AMD seeks a passionate, collaborative leader with strong technical skills and the initiative to motivate an expert team. You will manage a Silicon Engineering group and innovate with internal teams and external partners to create the next generation of computing technologies. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate has experience leading others in technical and managerial settings. You also have excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will assume technical management responsibilities and hands-on technical architect role responsible for providing complex design methodologies in the hardware design verification space.
