Responsibilities
Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center offers intensive residential treatment services within a secure setting. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of youth ages 7- 17 who are experiencing emotional, psychiatric and educational difficulties. In addition to our general psychiatric programs, we also offer specialty programs for youth with more serious challenges. Harbor Point and its programs are fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Educational Facilities. We are licensed by The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and the Virginia Department of Education. We are a TRICARE-approved and certified facility. The receptionist provides communication support in operating the facility telephone switchboard, receiving visitors and announcing them to the proper department; performs clerical duties. Qualifications Qualifications: An individual must be able to perform each essential function of the job satisfactorily. Experience: Six months in an office environment is required. General knowledge of accepted business telephone etiquette, superior computer knowledge and skills, and outstanding interpersonal communication skills. Physical Requirement: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distant, and peripheral vision, color and depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
