Responsibilities

Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, Adults, and the CD population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently recruiting for a Director of Outpatient Services.

The Clinical Director of Outpatient Services performs a multitude of functions related to social services and business management of the Intensive Outpatient Services. The director oversees all daily operations and workflow of the outpatient department. This includes supervision of outpatient staff (to include the Transportation Departament and the Outpatient Therapists, etc.) and ensuring that trainings are provided on a regular basis, develops and analyzes the effectiveness of programming. Oversight of all performance improvement standards. Coordinates student intern placement as needed. Directs the hiring and evaluation of clinical services staff. Interfaces with staff at all levels. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or Clinically related field.

Experience: Minimal of one year direct leadership in behavioral/mental health setting. Preferred 3-5 direct leadership in behavioral/mental health setting. Direct clinical experience should include individual, family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Preferred knowledge of state laws and regulations as well as knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and MCO's.

License: Independent Indiana state licensure (LCSW, LMHC or LMFT; LCAC certification a plus!)

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and CPI training. May be required to work flexible hours.
