Registered Nurse (PRN)

Shifts: PRN: DAY, SWING or GRAVE SHIFTS AVAILABLE (5:00am-5:00pm, 6:00pm-10:00pm or 5pm - 5am shifts available) - NO SHIFT GUARANTEE -filling in for sick calls and scheduled vacations. PLUS generous SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS for night & weekend shifts

Copper Hills Youth Center, located in West Jordan, UT, is a private residential treatment center for adolescents 12-17 years of age. We counsel, teach and mentor children placed in our care and give each child a chance to make successful changes. Your essential functions & objectives:

  • Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment for students
  • Initial and ongoing assessment of physical health of students and educating students regarding connection between physical and mental health
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Nursing Department philosophy, and assumes responsibility for maintaining Standards of Nursing Practice and Standards of Care for all patients

Qualifications

Your qualifications include:

  • Utah RN licensure or multi-state compact license to practice in Utah
  • 2 years' experience in the behavioral health/psychiatric nursing field is preferred, but NOT REQUIRED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen
  • Can work 2 shifts every two weeks unless there is no need
