Location:

Upper Midwest - Territory to include all or parts of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa. Exact lines will be determined based on successful candidate's home base (Residence must be in territory)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Renewable Energy Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our energy products and services, building strong relationships with clients, and contributing to our mission of achieving a dominant market share.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Monitor and implement company policies and procedures with distribution and end-users
  • Development of positive relationships within Atlas Copco
  • Accurate territory forecasting per guidelines (Weekly/Monthly/Annually)
  • Reporting all new product needs and competitive activity to Product Marketing
  • Creation of a sound business plan and on-going activity plan
  • Maintain all customer data and intel in Salesforce
  • Execution of all sales processes and strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and internal sales to develop sales strategies and promotional materials
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
  • Spend a minimum of 70% of time in the field, in front of customers


Customer Interactions



  • Promotion, sale, service, and rental of Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems complete product portfolio (Hydraulic Torque Wrench, DC Electric Bolting Systems, Tensioning Systems, Pneumatic Bolting Systems)

    • Wind, Solar, Energy Storage - field sites, construction companies, maintenance providers, owner/operator, and OEM's
    • Upstream/Midstream regional offices and field sites
    • Downstream - petrochem and refining facilities tool cribs, maintenance, and contractor
    • All segments - tooling centers


  • Ensure 100% coverage of all defined key customer locations within territory.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Understanding of our business position with the customer
  • Development of complete customer satisfaction
  • Development of positive win-win relationships in all customers through transformation and expanding our core processes
  • Formal introduction of all new products to all customers with customer specific value focus
  • Identify, Acquire, and Develop best in class distribution to ensure complete territory coverage specification is fulfilled
  • Ensure service requirements of customer base are best in class
  • Support for distribution sales personnel to include training, support and development of new and existing business


Qualifications:



  • University degree or commensurate experience
  • Proven experience in sales or operations in the energy sector
  • Strong understanding of renewable or non-renewable energy technologies and solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for sustainability and clean energy
