CRM to support the entire GW lifecycle.
The
Senior Slate Administrator primarily provides development and support for event management, inquiry and applicant communication, application cycle, and
CRM portal maintenance, and manages data within the
CRM for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and
GEM. This position will be responsible for managing
CRM data and development for functional units in undergraduate admissions and assisting graduate enrollment management including but not limited to managing user permissions, data integrity, and error resolution for data pertaining to prospective, applicant, and admitted students; monitoring daily data imports and application platform changes; updating rule-based automation; monitoring counselor and applicant portals; creating documentation of business practices; assisting with account reconciliation; and building data feeds from third-party vendors (e.g., Common App, College Board,
ACT/Encoura,
SCOIR,
CBSS, Strive Scan, Parchment).
Reporting to the
Associate Vice Provost for Student Success, this individual will serve as the functional lead in integrating the
CRM with the University's
SIS and external systems. It is important to note that this position will be expected to provide training, documentation, and oversight for system users and regularly implement procedures to assist with the enhancement of recruitment and admission processes to enroll each class.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of the CRM and acts as the primary CRM Captain.
- Perform system configuration, maintenance, enhancement, and quality control processes for all online applications, forms, decisions, application review, communication, events, and portals, etc.
- Responsible for all data imports and the integration/automation with external systems and vendors in coordination with GW IT
- Provision of all system accounts and provide relevant system training/onboarding for all necessary individuals.
- Ensure integrity of data entered into admission systems and SIS through assessment and quality control reviews and audits and following all university data governance and privacy policies.
- Create and maintain documentation for application processing in CRM and the data integration between CRM and other systems.
- Identify and incorporate new CRM functionality and enhancements on a regular basis.
- Be an active member of the CRM community, may include but is not limited to; attending the annual CRM conference, webinars, and other professional development opportunities.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for CRM with internal campus partners (i.e. Information Technology, Registrar, Academic Advising, and Financial Aid).
- Create and maintain custom reports and complex queries.
- Assist the enrollment leadership team with the daily and long-term management of the division, including dashboards, reporting, and implementation of new technology.
- Leverage new technology and new system features to maximize efficiency and customer service.
- Assist with admissions events (i.e., open houses, accepted student days, etc.)
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: |
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 5 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master's degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 3 years of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |

Preferred Qualifications: |
- Experience with Technolutions Slate or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Slate experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of third-party application platforms (e.g. Liasion, Common App).
- Knowledge of admissions operations, cycle, policies, and support activities.
- Working knowledge of the following language: SQL, XML, HTML, Liquid Markup, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
- Experience working with data integrations, data analytical tools, and complex systems/structures.
- A demonstrated passion for using, refining, and implementing technology.
- A proven ability to solve problems and provide good customer service
- Strong attention to detail and a proven record of testing, proofing, and creating documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and to prioritize workloads according to volume, urgency, etc.
- Demonstrated business acumen:
- Ability to determine why data is being collected.
- How to best use the database and data to achieve the goals and objectives.
- Interpret problems, identify and implement optimal database solutions to achieve
- A bachelor's degree
- Advanced experience with an admissions CRM (preferably Technolutions, Slate)
- Experience with a Student Information System (Ellucian Colleague experience preferred)
