The Office of University Communications at the University of Virginia seeks an experienced, professional photographer to support the office's core mission of showcasing the University as a model of excellence in public higher education through effective and engaging communications and marketing. The photographer will produce visual content from conceptualization through to distribution. As a member of University Communications' talented, collaborative and dynamic Creative team, the photographer will capture compelling images that communicate the essence of UVA, including its vibrant student experiences, the splendor of Grounds, remarkable research endeavors, and exciting athletics and community-wide events. The photographer will collaborate with colleagues across the department, including on the Marketing, Digital, Licensing, and News & Content teams, as well as with other partners across the University. The photographer will also support the video producers as they develop audio and video content. RESPONSIBILITIES:

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $65,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience. This position will remain open until filled. This is an Exempt level, benefited position.
