Senior Environmental Engineer
Job Description Dewberry is currently seeking an Senior Environmental Engineer with 12+years of experience for our NE Environmental Service team. The position will be located in Dewberry's Boston, MA office. The successful candidate will perform a variety of environmental planning and engineering tasks. Responsibilities will include general project management; close coordinatation and communication with State and Municipal agencies including but not limited to MassDOT and MBTA; review of environmental reports and plans for conformance to local, state and federal regulations; report to, advise and assist the firms's NE Environmental team with environmental related projects both locally and throughout the northeast market. The Senior Environmental Engineer must be flexible, client focused and capable of working independently to support the firm's client base. The work required is diverse and ranges from office work, general field support during construction, and review work that requires strong communication skills and a technical working knowledge of current local, state and federal environmental regulations. Other requirements include MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation and/or ArcGIS, Bentley software products and current OSHA 40-hr certification and/or other applicable certifications may be required.
