Business Overview

Novanta's Corporate and Shared Services teams play an important role in executing the company's strategic mission and operations. Included in Corporate and Shared Services are the business functions including Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Development and Corporate Marketing. The Corporate and Shared Services teams work closely with all Novanta business units to support operating initiatives contributing to the organization's financial success.

Summary

As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Sourcer, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent for our organization. You will source, screen, and present candidates who meet the required qualifications to hiring managers. You will source across various global locations, where you'll showcase our unique work approach, values, and vision to attract the most relevant talent.

Primary Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Talent Sourcing Management: creating searches via multiple platforms, reviewing profiles and screening potential candidates. This role will oversee the entire talent sourcing process, ensuring smooth integration into the recruitment pipeline.
  • Talent Mapping & Data Insights. Dive into talent markets worldwide to provide strategic reports that inform key hiring decisions, contributing to our continuous improvement and strategic growth.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and preferences.
  • Project work; talent acquisition projects may include employer branding initiatives, events, data analytics and continuous improvement project

General Tasks

  • Maintain strict compliance with the quality, environmental and occupational health and safety regulations and implementation of the instructions of the quality, environmental management and/or occupational health and safety officer.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

  • 5+ years' experience in talent acquisition with at least 3 years in a sourcing capacity.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a strong knack for building robust relationships across the organization and with candidates.
  • The ability to thrive in a global organization with positions that span various geographies and time zones with fluctuating priorities.
  • You can work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities, driving results with initiative and accountability and based in data.
  • Strong English communication skills are essential. Proficiency in languages such as Spanish or German is advantageous but not mandatory for daily operations.
  • Be knowledgeable in various sourcing techniques and tools and provide sourcing expertise to the broader Talent Acquisition team.

  • Less than 10%

Physical Requirements

  • Mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
  • Ability to use vison to read computer screen and read printed materials
