Job Overview
The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, supporting and driving improvement processes and transformational improvement initiatives across the enterprise. You will encourage and advance strong partnerships with all business units and employ foundational quality and process improvement tools to a create consistent, data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
Highlights of your role
Support the implementation and management of quality management system processes including, ISO & CE certifications and standard operating procedures.
- Support Engineering efforts to analyze, identify, and resolve production line problems in order to meet quality standards and specifications.
- Support operations efforts to analyze, identify, and mitigate/resolve risks related to product performance.
- Serve as a resource to internal departments to resolve issues related to incoming parts and develop corrective actions.
- Organize and schedule quality audits, develop and manage supporting documentation and communicate results.
- Observe continuous improvement testing efforts and coordinate root cause analysis of product failures.
- Support Research and Development efforts to correct any issues with current products.
- Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Bachelor's degree with a preferred concentration in Engineering and/or Manufacturing/Operations
- 2 - 4 years leading moderately sized improvement/new product projects with proven results
- Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Proven ability to successfully participate, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams
