Deputy Director of Clinical Care

The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department is currently looking for an Deputy Director of Clinical Care (Assistant Department Leader Classification).
Under general direction, plans, organizes, and directs the services of the County's clinical services including outpatient medical clinics, correctional health services and clinical support services; medical outreach; and other duties as required. The individual selected for this role must be a skilled leader who can inspire high standards and a sense of teamwork to accomplish organizational goals and work with the executive leadership to develop and achieve broader-based countywide goals for the entire department. The incumbent will have a reputation for being approachable and making a positive impact towards the success of the organization. A background and specific experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and health are required.
