DCCA is looking for an experienced Chief Architect for overseeing the design, architecture, and overall structure of systems, platforms, or technology products in an organization. Candidates to have healthcare systems implementation experience, excellent communication and leadership skills, and expertise in leading client presentations. In addition, this position requires a mix of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to ensure that the project's IT infrastructure and software systems align with business goals. Location - Remote Primary Responsibilities: * Define and ensure the technical architecture is aligned with business goals. * Establish standards, best practices, and guidelines for development teams to follow. * Ensure systems can handle growth and perform optimally. * Evaluate new technologies and make decisions on integrating these into the organization's stack. * Provide leadership and guidance to development teams, mentor resources and strive for technical excellence. * Manage differing opinions and negotiate solutions between technical teams and outside groups * Keep up with the industry trends and employ new tools/techniques for maintaining a stable and reliable system Required Skills Proven experience: * 10+ years developing and implementing enterprise scale applications. * Experience of working with large-scale and complex implementations * Proven experience designing and managing complex IT systems and large-scale architecture solutions (cloud, on-premises, hybrid). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design solutions for complex IT challenges. * Expertise in system integration, data architecture, enterprise application development, and cloud computing. * Deep understanding of various technologies such as AWS, databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle etc.), microservices (Spring boot), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices. * Expertise in designing systems with a focus on security and scalability. * Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, Splunk, Desired Skills (Pluses): Proven experience with: * CMS or Healthcare Experience * Experience with architecting enterprise applications on the Cloud * Experience in SAFe Agile development methodology * DevSecOps, CI/CD Required Education / Certifications Computer Science degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related major Certified Solutions Architect (optional) Project Management or Agile certifications (Optional) Candidate must have or be willing to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 140,000 to 180,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
