Requirements

    Bachelors degree and five years defense lifecycle logistics support with one year of experience in support of C4ISR systems, or a Master's degree and three years of work related experience in a relevant technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated skills, to include: analyzing engineering/systems management data, and developing logistics plans and procedures
  • Experience utilizing Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software or NAVSEA's Model Based Product Support (MBPS)
  • Experience with Configuration Management (CM) and commercial PLM, e.g., CMPRO for inventory management and tracking of material
  • Experience with Navy logistics practices to include development and maintenance of Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) and experience with Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS)
  • Ability to work successfully in a collaborative and diverse environment and be a team player
  • Ability to stand or walk while lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling heavy objects; requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Secret Clearance


Desired Skills

  • Current Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 1, or have equivalent logistics training (specify within resume)
  • Experience with drafting and editing technical manuals; familiarity (or experience) with TMMA functions and processes a definite plus
  • Configuration Management experience a plus
  • Experience with MS EXCEL and ACCESS highly desired


Description

  • Reporting to St. Julien's Creek Annex daily - no remote work authorized
  • Utilizing CMPRO to track hardware, software, and documentation by install for each system
  • Utilizing ICAPS for provisioning technical documentation
  • Developing, reviewing and maintaining APLs
  • Developing, reviewing, and modifying technical manuals
  • Providing support within the Navy's current logistics data systems that includes CM, provisioning, readiness modeling and technical data management using NAVSEA's Windchill based MBPS Tool
  • Supporting logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating and evaluating the logistical actions required to support to RC IPT
  • Possessing excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities and tasks
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, SharePoint, and Word)
  • Researching equipment and software for quotes for building and maintaining a Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Supporting and communicating directly with customer
  • Prioritizing tasks and strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Planing, forming, maintaining, and presenting large amounts of data to appropriate parties in required time frames
  • Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of materials and equipment
  • Developing and reviewing preventative maintenance documents and other similar documentation

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
