JOB TITLE: Sales Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Director of Sales

DIVISION: Sales Department

LOCATION: On-site and Remote (Hybrid)

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/Year-Round/Hourly

POSITION:

The Sales Coordinator supports group and event sales, including weddings, corporate groups and ski groups, while providing support to Central Reservations and Events as needed. The Sales Coordinator must to ensure order satisfaction, coordinates with other departments, handles administrative duties and promotes customer service across the organization.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience and/or events, preferably in the hospitality or resort space
  • Organized, self-motivated, reliable, and multi-task oriented.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Must enjoy delivering great customer service.
  • Must be able to navigate stressful situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Be available for a varied work schedule and additional time as workload dictates, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • IT and A/V equipment knowledge and skills preferred.
  • Previous travel, hospitality, or ski industry experience preferred.
  • Intermediate or advanced ski or snowboard ability and valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency in Delphi/Salesforce, MS Office, Excel, and general computer use preferred.
  • Proficiency or ability to become proficient with Inntopia, Springer-Miller System, RTP, and Open Table
  • Ability to work outside in the winter and summer under varying conditions.
  • Ability to travel out-of-state as needed to activate on sales strategies.
  • Ability to align decision making with company values, strategies, and goals.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate between all departments to create the best and most cohesive experience for groups.
  • Work with F&B managers providing feedback on menus to better serve client's expectations.
  • Schedule and host site tours, including on-mountain, venues, and lodging properties.
  • Help resolve problems that arise while the group is on-site, leading to their arrival or after their departure.
  • Continuously pursue client prospecting and research.
  • Attend trade shows as assigned.
  • Assist Sales and Events Department with administrative work as assigned, such as room blocks, lodging links, contract filing, monthly settlement reports and qualifying inquiries through Delphi, Wedding Wire, and company sales email.
  • Answer calls for Central Reservations when assigned.
  • Promote visibility of the resort through active involvement in industry associations, events, and trade shows
  • Establish relationships with the community, professional organizations, and the Chamber of Commerce
  • Provide support to event day staff and group schedule when needed.

Other duties as assigned.
