The Student Integrity Coordinator is responsible for supporting and upholding Western Technical College's policies and procedures related to student conduct, community standards, and all policies, procedures, and prevention efforts pertaining to student behavior. This position plays a critical role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment by managing student conduct cases, facilitating educational interventions, and collaborating with campus partners. The Student Integrity Coordinator works closely with students, faculty, and staff to address issues related to violations of college policies, including academic integrity, behavioral misconduct, and helping with civil rights and Title IX violations.

Essential Functions
-
1. Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required. 2. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department. Perform other duties as assigned. 3. Student Success is the cornerstone of Western's culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success 4. Student Integrity - Supporting Actions May Include:
- Provide leadership and serve as Western's primary hearing officer in the application of the Student Code of Conduct, and College policies relating to student integrity.
- Act as one of the institution's Deputy Title IX Coordinator, serving on the Title IX team and assisting with Title IX process as needed.
- Assist with Western's response to complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation based on protected characteristics that are non-sex based.
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of interim measures, accommodations, and remedies for all student conduct cases.
- Provide and arrange alternative resolution processes such as Restorative Justice Practice, Mediation and Conflict Resolution for students, staff and faculty.
- Partner with the Diversity Advocacy Team, Manager of Student Equity Initiatives, and the Equity and Inclusion Leader to ensure all student integrity processes are equitable.
5. Training, Data and Record Keeping - Supporting Actions May Include:
- Develop and facilitate educational programs aimed at promoting community standards, civility, and personal responsibility.
- Stay current with trends, best practices, and legal issues related to student conduct and higher education law.
- Provide training and educational programs for students, faculty, and staff.
- Assess and analyze student conduct data, prepare reports on conduct cases and trends for institutional assessment and compliance purpose.
6. Student Life Functions - Supporting Actions May Include:
- Provide emergency response support to the residence life staff and community members, participating in an on-call duty rotation.
- Conduct student intake in application of the Sex Offender Registry procedure, ensure continuous compliance of students from session to session and creating CARE cases for review.
- Serve as primary staff for applying the Sex Offender Registry procedure, including intake and tracking of students from session to session and creating CARE cases for review.
- Co-Advise Student Government's Legislative Affairs Committee and Wisconsin Student Government Delegation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Sociology, Social Work, Education, Social Justice, or related field combined with appropriate occupational experience in related field totaling 2 years) OR
- Education in related field combined with related occupational experience totaling 4 years OR
- Occupational experience in related field totaling 4 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with student development, teaching, and learning
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Candidates who live within a 20 mile radius of the La Crosse Campus

This position reports to: Associate Director of Student Life
Starting annual/hourly salary range based on education and experience: $52,214 - $67,054
This position would include competitive salary, along with a wide variety of benefits available to full-time Western Technical College Employees.
