Full Time; DAYS 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday
Expected starting wage range is $35 - $40. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist coordinates the assigned region's recruitment efforts to develop a pool of qualified and diverse candidates. This is achieved by developing recruitment strategies for licensed, leadership, and other hard to fill positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist participates in recruitment efforts for non-management and entry-level positions for assigned programs. S/he provides support to Talent Acquisition Director on key initiatives as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with residents, the public and other staff members
* Performs tasks correctly and according to policies and procedures on a regional level. Responsibilities of the 5 following functions include:
RECRUITMENT FUNCTIONS
In collaboration with Program Managers and Administrators:
o Develops quarterly proactive strategic recruitment plan and goals
o Develops and implements recruitment strategies for key difficult to fill positions
o Recruits and advertises for vacant positions
o Prescreens employment applications for key positions
o Sources, screens, and conducts preliminary interviews for identified positions
o Tracks applications and resumes for key positions and distributes to programs
o Works with Employment Manager on company-wide recruitment initiatives, this includes: providing guidance, resources, and assisting with recruitment needs in other regions and national positions as needed
o Develops and maintains recruitment resources (i.e., brochures, flyers, giveaways)
o Represents Telecare in various capacities relating to recruitment
o Enhances recruitment through the use of printed material
o Recommends utilization of bonuses including sign-on, retention, and ERBA's as needed for key positions
o Works within recruitment budget
TRAINING FUNCTIONS
o Provides recruitment-related training to managers and administrative staff
PARTNERSHIP FUNCTIONS
o Partners with managers on strategic recruitment planning
o Works with Administrators to assess salary information and determine appropriate course of action
o Works with Communications Department to develop new materials as needed for program specific/project specific recruitment
o Works with Development Team to provide recruitment support and to staff new program start-ups
o Partners with local schools within the assigned regions to build relationships and communicate career paths at Telecare
o Assists programs by initiating Corporate Sponsorships and/or clinical psych rotations at their facilities
o Assists programs with implementing initiatives such as NERP (Nursing Education Repayment Program) and others
o Provides recruitment training at locations
SYSTEMS FUNCTIONS
o Tracks and analyzes the efficacy of recruitment activities and creates related reports
o Implements systems as needed to streamline the recruitment process
RETENTION FUNCTIONS:
o Contacts new employees to facilitate adjustment with new hire process
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted and/or changed at the discretion of management
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
* BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related field and two (2) years of recruitment experience with increasing responsibilities and demonstrated skills in creative sourcing, recruiting strategies, and interviewing for diverse candidates, OR six (6) years progressive experience in recruitment with increasing responsibilities and demonstrated skills in creative sourcing, recruiting strategies, and interviewing for diverse candidates.
* Must be able to read, write, and speak English
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver's license, a motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, bend, squat, kneel, twist, reach, pull, push, lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less, perform wrist deviations, hand/wrist repetitions and do simple grasping, drive as well as frequently sit.
