Job Summary:

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks Project and Change Management Coordinator to serve on its Campus Strategy team. Housed under Administration & Finance, Campus Strategy supports high-level projects identified as key institutional priorities by the campus community (via the strategic plan), as well as by the Chancellor and the senior leadership team. This position represents an exciting opportunity to shepherd a variety of high-impact initiatives at the campus from the ideation phase through design and implementation. Key Responsibilities: Although precise needs will vary by type and scale of change, example activities may include (but will not be limited to): Project Management Responsibilities (50%): The Project and Change Management Coordinator will collaborate with the Campus Strategy team (currently, the Associate Vice Chancellor of Budget, Planning and Campus Strategy; the Director of Campus Strategy; and a Project Manager) to support the following project management activities:
- Helping to define project scope, milestones, objectives, and timeline
- Supporting in the facilitation of project meeting
- Building relationships with stakeholders
- Helping to set and manage roles, responsibilities, and expectations among project team members
- Participating in the creation of reports and updates to leaders, project team members, and other stakeholders, as necessary
- Helping to track project performance at regular intervals to ensure that key milestones are met
- Ensuring deliverables are met on time, within scope, and on budget
Change Management Responsibilities (30%): The Project and Change Management Coordinator will collaborate with the Campus Strategy team to support the following change management activities:
- Identifying (or developing) and applying a structured change framework and/or methodology to Campus Strategy projects.
- Coaching project teams to define and track measures of change success.
- Evaluating the scope and potential impact of proposed changes
- Integrating change management activities into project plans.
- Supporting communication, training, and evaluation efforts.
- Anticipating change resistance and advising on strategies to foster adoption.
- Helping to prepare reports and updates to leaders, project team members, and other stakeholders as necessary.
- Coordinating and aligning with project manager(s) and executive sponsors to ensure project success.
Strategic Planning Responsibilities (10%): The Project and Change Management Coordinator will collaborate with the Campus Strategy team to support a refresh of the campus-wide strategic process. This may include:
- Supporting the facilitation of strategic planning meetings, as needed
- Assisting in the preparation of documents, meeting notes, presentations, and reports
- Helping to advise during the process of establishing KPIs and measures of success
- Supporting the tracking and monitoring of progress toward those KPIs and measures of success during the plan implementation
Other Duties as Assigned (10%):
- The Project and Change Management Coordinator will participate in campus committees, professional development activities, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications: * A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. * At least two (2) years of professional experience in project coordination or management, business intelligence or analytics, change management or a closely related field Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire Preferred Qualifications: * At least three (3) years of professional experience in project or change management * Prosci Change Management certification * PMP, Scrum, and/or Lean Six Sigma certification * Experience working in any of the following: higher education, hospital systems, or research administration * Experience with project management software such as Smartsheets, ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar Conditions of Employment: * Must be willing and able to obtain Prosci Change Management certification within six months of start date (fees paid by the department) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills * Outstanding time management skills * Strong ability to manage multiple competing tasks, and to prioritize projects of varying scope and complexity * Technically savvy and able to quickly learn systems and software programs * Skilled at motivating others, fostering engagement, and generating buy-in * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. * Outstanding customer service skills. * Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The hiring range for this position has been established as: $57,052 - $75,570 The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
