Design Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #70151 Pay Range: $43-51 ph (W2) Duration: 12 mos Job Description Mechanical engineer for the Test Engineering Mechanical COE. Responsibilities include detailed mechanical design and drafting of test stations, design changes, and general CAD modeling. Design responsibilities shall also include designing vibration fixtures for units under test and fixtures for thermal testing. Preferred skills and skills to be developed are understanding and implementation of geometric tolerancing, experience in 3D modeling (CREO experience required), optical physics, understanding of precision machining, design review presentations. Required Experience: - Candidates must be able to create 3D models and CCAs, harnesses and cables- implementation of geometric tolerancing, experience in 3D modeling (CREO experience required), optical physics, understanding of precision machining, design review presentations. - 5 years experience of Creo. - 5 years experience in Mechanical design or Electromechanical design. - At least 1 year of Windchill experience. - Coordination with the documentation group on both program product design as well as the test engineering packaging group is also required.
