Job Summary
MS assistantship in estuarine ecology/shellfish restoration. Applicant pursues Master of Science degree while conducting estuarine ecology research and extension. Boat/field/lab time required. Research includes emphasis on shellfish. Thesis topic focuses on oyster restoration, conservation, and water quality. Office/facility is off campus in Mobile, Alabama with work throughout Mobile Bay, Little Lagoon, and MS Sound.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors in aquaculture, marine biology, ecology, fisheries, or related field.

  • Enrolled in graduate program at time of assistantship
