Position Overview: As a Registered Nurse in our 36-bed Psychiatric Acute Unit, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care for patients with behavioral health needs. Key responsibilities include: Delivering direct patient care, including observation and management of psychiatric patients. Assessing, planning, and implementing care while continuously evaluating patients' progress toward expected outcomes. Taking primary responsibility for coordinating care delivered by the interdisciplinary Care Team. Managing de-escalation of behavioral disturbances and promoting a safe, therapeutic environment. Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Proven ability to demonstrate positive, compassionate behaviors in patient care. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Previous RN experience in Behavioral Health or Emergency Department (ED) settings.
